About Us

The Sunnybank Cardiopulmonary Diagnostic Service was established at Sunnybank Private Hospital in 1991, and since then has been performing a wide variety of non-invasive cardiopulmonary tests.

The Service’s philosophy is to produce test results of the highest possible standard and reproducibility, thereby equipping the referring doctor with the information required to produce an optimal outcome for you. The service respects the centrality of patients, as well as their relationship with their referring Doctor.

Our specialists are supported by friendly and efficient office staff, as well as a highly experienced compliment of cardiac and pulmonary technicians.

Wayne Kelly M.B. B.S. (Qld) F.R.A.C.P.

After graduating from the University of Queensland, I worked in New Zealand and then returned to Queensland for Physician Training I moved to Sydney for advanced training in Respiratory Medicine. In 1990 I was appointed to Princess Alexandra Hospital as VMO in Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care. Currently, I practice at the Brisbane Private Hospital and hold a VMO appointment to the Intensive Care Unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital. My interests are Perioperative and Sleep Medicine.

Vagish Singh M.B., B.S. (Qld), F.R.A.C.P., F.C.S.A.N.Z.

I am a Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland. I trained at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital in Cardiology and have done further advanced training in the USA in cardiac pacing, ICD and CT coronary angiography.

My special interests include non-invasive assessments of coronary disease with stress tests, stress echo and CT coronary angiography.
